Aftercare

During the healing process after microshading, it is important to avoid certain activities and products to ensure the best possible outcome. Here are some things to AVOID during healing:

  • Getting the eyebrows wet for the first 7-10 days, including avoiding swimming, saunas, and hot tubs.
  • Applying makeup to the eyebrow area for at least 10 days.
  • Picking, scratching, or rubbing the treated area, as this can cause the pigment to become uneven or fade prematurely.
  • Exposure to direct sunlight, tanning beds, and excessive sweating for the first 10 days.
  • Using facial cleansers, exfoliants, and scrubs on or near the eyebrow area.
  • Applying any topical creams or ointments that have not been specifically recommended by the technician.
  • Touching the eyebrows with dirty hands or allowing pets to lick or scratch the treated area.
  • Sleeping on your face.
